
The Author
Meet Don
Don Stansberry is a native West Virginian and an elementary school teacher. He has been in the public school system since 1984 and has always had an interest in writing.
He was the head coach for the Parkersburg High Girls' Basketball team for 16 years and retired from this position with four state championships.
Don is the author of five books including Secret Blood, Crusty, Inky and the Missing Gold, Inky, Oglebee, and the Witches, and Skipping Through the ABC's of History.
Don lives in West Virginia with his wife Patty and his two daughters, Shay and Sydney.

"Secret Blood" Draws Top Award from London Book Festival
LONDON – End-times thriller Secret Blood by Don Stansberry has been named Winner in the Wild Card category of the London Book Festival, which honors the best of international publishing.
Entries are judged on these criteria: general excellence and the author’s passion for telling a good story and the potential of the work to gain a wider audience in the worldwide market.
Winners and honorable mentions in the competition will be honored at a dinner held Jan. 24, 2013, at the British Library in London.
Secret Blood was named Finalist in the E-Book: Mystery/Thriller/Adventure category of the International Book Awards earlier this year.
